In-Bay Automatic:

Automatic washing provides a convenient alternative to the consumer. The automatic wash takes less time and the task is performed by machinery and/or other personnel. Automatics can be classified as either "friction" or "touch-free" systems. Friction equipment uses either plastic brushes or synthetic cloth strips to clean the vehicle, while touch-free systems employ detergents and high pressure water to remove dirt. In-bay automatics are often used in conjunction with self-service bays, as well as with petroleum convenience store locations. The in-bay automatic provides an excellent means to produce additional income from approximately the same amount of space that is required for a self-service bay. In-bay automatics provide a relatively fast wash (approximately 2.5 - 4.0 minutes per car, depending on the wash options selected).
